Trees for Troops Program to be Honored at the White House

Thanks to you and the Christmas Tree industry, Trees for Troops finished in the top five of the White Houses Joining Forces campaign.

As you may know, in April 2011, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden launched Joining Forces , a national initiative to support and honor America's service members and their families. More than 300 applications were submitted and only 20 organizations were selected to be part of the online voting campaign.

On April 11, 2012, Trees for Troops will be honored at a White House presentation, along with the other finalists.  We understand that five additional honors will be announced onsite.
