MCTA Members are asked to support the Trees for Troops program.

The MCTA has been asked to coordinate donations of 1,000 Christmas trees for the national Trees for Troops program. NCTA and its charitable division, the Christmas Spirit foundation, have committed to donate and deliver 11,000 Real Christmas Trees to families of military personnel serving overseas during the upcoming holiday season.

Drop off dates have yet to be determined and may vary depending on drop location, however will likely fall between November 18-22. Each participant will be personally notified of the drop off dates when determined. Members are encouraged to coordinate loads going to a drop location with neighboring farms.

To participate, please contact the MCTA office with the following information:  farm name, contact name, phone, fax, email, number and variety of trees, drop off location.
